Boarding at Foxwood Farm
Thank you for choosing Foxwood as your boarding barn. We only accept a few boarders at a time, that way we maintain that family feel. All our boarders are more than welcome to use any of our facilities at no extra charge. Our show grounds are also available, should you like to host a show. All we ask is to be notified of the date to make sure there aren't any other shows being held at that time. I am available every day should you have any questions or just want to chat. Boarding Prices
Unlike most Riata barns, we don't have seperate boarding plans to choose from. We charge $225 a month per stall, which is a reasonable fee for Lafayette, Indiana area. This includes feeding twice daily, daily turnout (westher permitting) and 24 hour monitoring by our well-trained staff. All our horses are fed Taylor Made Feed. If you would prefer to use your own feed, please specify that in the Notes section of the boarding form. All Mini-barns are $950 per month, regardless of the number of horses you own.
We do offer extra services that you may add per month. We are also bringing in our own veterinarian who will be available should you wish to use her. Remember to keep accurate records of all vet and farrier care.
Service Add-ons
We offer several services to our boarders that may be added on as needed. Vet and Farrier scheduling does not include the cost of the care. We will keep track of your appointments and will have your horses prepared for the vet/farrier. Foxwood does use TYR Farrier. While you are not expected to use Rachel, we do recommend her. She is very prompt and is always available for emergencies. While we don't offer any training, we are more than happy to contact them on your behalf and arrange everything. Horses with rear shoes are required to have an individual paddock for the safety of all our horses (there is no additional charge for individual stallion turnout).
